Kirk Dominick, President

Kirk is a nationally-recognized expert on nonprofit strategy and management. He held senior positions in the national staff of Boys & Girls Clubs of America after several years as Executive Director of a community-based nonprofit.

Kirk oversaw the creation of a State Alliances of Boys & Girls Clubs that attracted over $100,000,000 in state funding for local clubs. He has expertise in nonprofit legislative affairs and government funding.

Kirk served on several national committees, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Training and Professional Development Committee and its Government Relations Advisory Committee.

Kirk is skilled at facilitating organizations to create strategies and translate them to actionable plans. His analysis of nonprofits is incisive and identifies ways to improve effectiveness.

Kirk is an outstanding motivational and professional development speaker. He is able to communicate big ideas and practical advice. His presentations are successful at moving prospective donors to action. He energizes and motivates Board members and professional staff to higher levels of performance. Audiences consistently evaluate Kirk as one of the most informative and
entertaining speakers at conferences and events he attends.

His character and leadership skills were recognized at an early age by Boys & Girls Clubs of America who honored Kirk as first runner-up in its national Youth of the Year program.

Kirk has a degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University.
