Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield

Project Goals

The primary goal for this Campaign is to increase the Club's capacity to be able to provide programs for 2,000 boys and girls each year. The Club's facility, built in 1958, was too small and was not designed for the types of programs now offered.  A Feasibility Study, conducted by DNS Associates, suggested that the Club could raise $4,800,000 from the community.

Project Results

Community support for the Capital/Endowment Campaign totaled about $5,300,000. This exceeded the original financial goal because the Campaign Chair and the Board of Directors assembled an outstanding volunteer leadership group.

Construction of the new facility almost doubles the Club's program space and replaces a pond with an outdoor swimming pool. An institution in Ridgefield since 1936, the Boys & Girls Club has elevated its stature in the community. [read Testimonial]
