Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County

Project Goals

A Community Assessment was performed for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County to identify needs for youth services in Monterey County, California with in-depth analysis of 5 locations. The assessment was based on information and feedback from interviews with community leaders, philanthropists, business-people, educators, and youth; demographic, social and economic data; and review of over 25 other community assessments and plans.

Project Results

A 90-page report summarized findings and recommendations supported by source data and analysis. This report identified possible strategies to improve the community, prioritized communities and needs, and provided credible information that can be used to obtain support (financial, political, human and other support) for existing and new services.
