Project Goals

This project developed a strategy to create a competitive advantage for the Foundation and value for Foundation supporters. The Strategy Development process:

• Determined the Foundation’s core purpose, core competencies, core values, and mission
• Created an envisioned future for the Foundation
• Examined the Foundation’s current capacity

Project Results

DNS Associates facilitated a two-day strategy development session for volunteer and staff leaders from the East Carolina University Educational Foundation and the Athletic Department. This produced strategies for the next 3 -5 years and action plans for each strategy with specific action steps that would move the Foundation forward over the next 12–18 months. Leadership of the ECU Educational Foundation and the Athletic Department have a framework to attain strategically-important goals. [read Testimonial]
